The 'IT project of the Year 2010' Award!

Dear ICT Manager,

As a subscriber to Tijdschrift IT Management (TITM) we would like to inform you about the opportunity to compete for the
IT Project of the Year Award, which will be awarded at our yearly IT Transformation Conference, on May 18th.
The Award distinguishes outstanding IT projects that have been successfully concluded ('go live') in 2009 or beginning 2010, as far as time, budget and functionality are concerned. Projects should have a demonstrable and considerable value to the organization and its customers. That's why our motto for the Award is 'Investing in IT pays off'!

The winner of last year is.... ING Lease

Jury of the IT Project of the Year Award 2010

  • Prof. Dr. Hans Borgman, Leiden University.
  • Drs. Arnoud van Gemeren, Chief Editor of Tijdschrift IT Management (TITM).
  • Aloys Kregting, CIO of DSM and CIO of the Year 2007.
  • Mr. Bart de Ruijter, CEO of Metri.

The IT Project of the Year Award 2010 process entails the following steps

  1. March 21st 2010, deadline for returning the questionnaire.
  2. March 22nd 2010, the jury will creat a short list consisting of the top 5 nominees.
  3. April 26th 2010, the candidates on the short list will be invited for interviews with the jury in the Bossche Boardroom in 's-Hertogenbosch. The jury will select the top 3 nominees.
  4. All selected parties on our short list are automatically invited to attend our IT Transformation Conference in De Leeuwenhorst in Noordwijkerhout (NL), on May 18th 2010. The top 3 nominees are expected to be present during the award ceremony and will have the opportunity to present their projects in a short elevator pitch on stage.
  5. Following the pitches, the IT Project of the Year Award 2010 will be presented right there on stage in a short, but festive ceremony.

If your project wins…

A short list of selected projects will be published in TITM after consultation with the involved organizations.
As the winner of the Award you will get ample exposure in the conference report in TITM (Tijdschrift IT Management) and CIO Magazine, as well as in a separate feature article: an interview in TITM with you, your business colleague and your IT team! You and/or your team will even be on the cover of Tijdschrift IT Management, June edition.
A press release will also be distributed, featuring your IT organization as the winner of this year's Award.

If you have any questions regarding the IT Project of the Year 2010 Award, just send an e-mail to my colleague Jorick van der Vlies, at Jorick@ictmedia.nl.

I encourage you to participate and compete for this prestigious Award. It is after all a demonstration of IT's added value to the business!

Best Regards,

Arnoud van Gemeren,
